We are looking forward to welcoming you to The Malvern Hills Hotel and wanted to make you aware of some roadworks which may affect your journey to us.

We have been advised that carriageway repair works will be taking place on the B4232 Jubilee Drive from 14 September until 9 October 2026.

These works are taking place in addition to the current closure of the A449 between the B4232 turn at Jubilee Drive and the A4104, the road towards Welland and Upton.

The Hotel Remains Open & Accessible

Getting to the Hotel

The Malvern Hills Hotel remains accessible, and diversions are in place.

If you are approaching from the Malvern/Upton direction or from the north, you will be redirected towards the B4232 and its junction with the A449, where the hotel is located.

Depending on your direction of travel, the diversion may take you via Welland -> Castlemorton ->Rye cross -> Hollybush ->Eastnor or Via Old wyche road -> B4218 through Colwall before bringing you towards the hotel.

We recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey and following the signed diversion routes rather than relying solely on your usual route or satellite navigation, as road conditions and diversions may change during the works.

We appreciate that roadworks can be inconvenient and apologise for any additional time they may add to your journey. However, the hotel remains open as usual and we very much look forward to welcoming you.

Food and Drink

Whether it is a light snack, a hearty bar meal or something a little more special, our head chef and his team are on hand to provide a sumptuous selection to suit every appetite.

Relax in the Oak Lounge Bar, where in the colder months the log burner will keep you warm, or maybe out on the terrace to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air in the summertime.

  • Breakfast for non residents: 9.30am with last orders at 11.30am, Lunch/ Dinner: 12 noon with last orders at 9pm
  • Please note times may vary during festive season

Oak Lounge bar dining

The Oak Lounge Bar is perfect for less formal dining. Pop in for coffee after walking the hills and decide to stay for lunch! No need to change! we serve our full menu all day, plus bar snack from 12 noon until 6pm. The oak panels exude a sense of unique character and the warming log burner is a wonderful treat through the cold winter months.

Vu Restaurant

Why not dine in the Vu Restaurant, where you can enjoy the stunning vista of the Herefordshire countryside while you eat. The glass fronted restaurant is perfect for small groups of 6 or less or for that romantic candlelit meal.

Reflections Dining Room

Our stylishly decorated Reflections Dining Room is always open for larger groups of 6 or more. Perfect for special occasion or events, with seating for up to 48 people and with the addition of a modern fireplace – it offers a very warm welcome to our guests.

The Secret Gin Garden and Front Patio

Our new Secret Gin Garden is a open-air seating area tucked away on the grounds of the hotel for you to enjoy your food and drink in peace and quiet.

You can bask in the summer sun on our extensive terraced beer garden at the front of the Malvern Hills Hotel
